The last couple of days I have noticed that in order to shift in/out of OD (while in drive), I would have to move the gear shifter to a certain position before I could get the OD to come on or off. Now I can't get to shift out of OD at all while in drive. Seems to work fine in Park, Reverse and Neutral. Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be?

 

Sounds like your linkage maybe out of adjustment.

 

Check the wiring in the column and shifter for damage.

Sounds like an intermittent open circuit.
