Hello all"

I have a 93 F150 302 engine and I'm not sure whitch trannie it has in it.
But it has the 12 bolt.

I'm at 90,000 Miles, this is a new truck to me and it was very well keep from an old man who had everything done to it.
But upon reciving it I noticed it shifted Very hard all gears. then it would be somth ....There is no ryme or reason for when it shift's hard it just seems to do it when it wants to...

I changed the fluid and filter but it didn't help....

Am I going to need to start looking fo a trannie ?

 

yup sounds like its going. my E4OD went out at 117 in my 96. shifted hard sometimes...had it rebuilt. never the same. worked great for a while but by then my warrenty was gone and back to semi hard shifts. learned now to pay the extra money for a brand new tranny. also ford is nitourious for tranny problems although i have over 118 on mine right now and still going strong(knock on wood)

 

Great I really dont need the expeance right now.....

so I guess a Junk yard trannie would b outta the question.........
