The blower upgrade on my 01 SCAB, 4x4, 5.4L has been coming along nicely but I'm starting to be concerned that the stock tq. conv. may not be able to handle the increased hp & tq because I tow a heavy boat during the summer. Any advice out there? Thanks.

Me too, but I'd like to have higher shift points w/o balooning the TC while maintaining a fairly stock drive feel.

 

There isn't really alot to upgrading these converters. A billet front cover and a better lockup clutch makes for a considerably nicer unit.
