03 5.4 FX4 in crumby stop and go traffic

Can the OD switch be wired backwards to "no overdrive" until pushed?

If so, how?

No, it can't. The computer program in the PCM would need to be rewritten to do that.

No more worries. The new 4:10's are doing the trick. Drives like a truck now.
