trans fluid change
50,000 miles on the tranny fluid/filter unless you pull heavy load often. I would consider that you have been quite lucky having the original battery last over 6 years. If you don't go to far from home, I would see how much more you can get out of it and save the $$$. If you travel longer distances or are out of town often, I wouldn't chance it.
I change my tranny fluid every 30k. That way I don't worry about "flushing" all of the fluid out. If the fluid starts to look or smell dark or "burnt" when you check the level, change it more completely and/or more often.
Batterys tend to die around the 4 to 5 year mark. If it's still cranking strong, good for you! Just keep an eye on it.

If a fellow goes and gets one of them 79 dollar flush/purge or what ever they are called for our transmissions. Do they have differant types of fluid? or Is it a all for one type deal. Because im sure when I asked a local qwik lube they said they use a fluid that works for all types.

The E4OD (before 99) and the 4R100 (after 99) have a trans code E on the door jam sticker. Use Mercon.
The 4R70w (trans code U on the door jam sticker) uses Mercon V.
Please look and post what you have. Also MAKE the tranny place use Mercon V if you have the 4R70w, and BE SURE not to let them use a Mercon V or blend if you have the 4R100.
