Exclamation 94 f150 Clutch problem

Right now i got a 4.9 liter 6 standered tranny. was on my way to pick up a fan belt when the clutch hit the floor and would not get back up but when i went to pick it up off the floor it did so ' When i put the clutch to the floor it will start but i went out earlier and i noticed the clutch was getting weak, if i held it down with it in gear for about 10 seconds it seems it would want to take off, iv just had the master cilinder replaced so im hoping its not that but i can still start it' if its the master cilinder would i still be able to start the vehicle? when the master cilender went i could not start it , could this be a fluid problem ' i got a hydraulic clutch.

Either you have air in the system, or the slave cylinder is bad. Have you noticed any leaks near where the trans bolts to the engine? If you have, the trans needs to come out and the slave cylinder needs replaced. If you have no leaks, I would try bleeding the system. Hope this helps. let us know what you find out.

ill let you know definitly, its at an auto body shop right now being checked out ' i had a hell of a time getting it down there with out using the clutch but i took it later on when there was not very much traffic around' what an expereince. You think it might be a clutch plate problem? thats for that responce.

I'll put ten bucks on a slave cylinder. Even if you have 4x4 it's still not too bad to pull the tranny on these pre 97 trucks. While it's out I would change the clutch and machine the flywheel as a "might as well..."

Well it turns out that it was the Clutch master cilinder $219 Can later I thought it would be alot more than that to fix thank goodness. But the clutch seems alittle weak ' it takes alittle more push to the ground than before' but i think ill just have to get use to it. I only took it out once but im sure many more trips with it will wake it up. Thanks for your responces guys
