I have a 2000 Expy. I have never changed or checked the fluid in the transfer case. Can someone enlighten me where to check, drain and fill. Also what kind of fluid to use?

I'd do it now. Takes about fifteen minutes with a mini hand pump from any parts store. There is a fill plug and drain plug on the side of the case. When refilling just put in as much as you can, as it will be full when level with the fill plug. Mercon ATF is fine.
