I recently purchased some intake manifold gaskets from a ford dealer when my lower intake broke , and was told that I have a late build 97. I was wondering if there is anyway to tell if I might have the updated roller clutch in my 4r70w. It would ease my mind, but I do have 113,000 miles and no problems so far . Thanks for the help!!

 

Get the trans info off the unit and/or see a trans shop.
They should be able to reference to their catalog on parts needed to rebuild the unit, if there nice prople. .
