Can anyone with a 1992 to 1996 F150 4x4 M5R2 5.0 send me a picture of their undercarriage. I rebuilt an M5R2 and swapped out my E4OD. (Please don't ask why, the auto was shot and I prefer a stick. I have experience with M5R2/M50D and ZF's are too expensive and in short supply.) Only problem I have left is the crossmember. The auto cross. isn't even close, and the cross. from an M5R2 2WD is to high, it puts the tranny into the floor at the transfer case flange. I can only surmise that there's a different crossmember for a 5.0 5 speed 4x4. I can go take one of the 92 Bronco now, but I left the dang USB card reader back in my dorm at Widener. Don't think I can hold out till winter break is over at the end of January, so I'll prolly just buy another one tomarrow. Sorry!
