I know this question has been answered on here before but i cant find the thread where it has been answered; How much fluid do i lose when i drop the pan on my 4R70W? I'm going to add TransX when i replace the fluid. Its a 2003 so there is no TC drain plug.

 

I would say about 5 to 6 QTs more or less,just have to start out with 4 and warm it up then add more as needed.Some take more then others,if you have the time weld a drain plug on the pan for the next time you want too change oil or the filter.Have fun
