Thanks guys, i knew the pros could solve my problem, i will get to work on that, my buddy has a 84 bronco 351w auto, what kind of trans and what kind of fluid does it take? the trans hasn't been serviced for a while and it also sat for ten years and was used the last 2 winters for plowing. so any help would be awesome, because at this point it won't light the tires up and i know there's something wrong with that...thanks for all the help everyone :o

The bronco should have a C6 in it. I believe it takes Mercon ATF.The transfer also uses it. 12 qts for the trans and 6 for the transfer. thats what i used in my 82 bronco.
