local junkyard has a wrecked 98 4.2 5spd sitting there and i thought i remeber reading here that the 4.2 shares the bellhousing bolt pattern with the 300/302/351 so the only thing i would need to know is if the input shaft was the same and everything if so i might pick it up for a spare because this is the 1st one ive seen in a yard
