having a problem

not really sure if its related to transmission. I have an 01 lariat supercrew f150 with the 5.4 auto. when you take off from a dead stop at wot the rpms dont jump up it just kinda slowly accelerates stays down at low rpm. Also if you try to do a brake stand it wont go any higher then 2000 rpm and wont spint he tires. anyone know why its doing this something in the computer which wont let you. thx for any help

Switch off the OD in the shift handle and try it.
If it changes the operation then it may be torque mangemant by the PCM.
