To my ford friends :
My tranmision is dead, I am going to repare it.

Has anyone had to repare one, and what am i going to get in to money wise

Is it beter to replace it , pros a cons and whats my cost

would realy like advice my truck has
-4.10 gears
-37 inch tiers

 

Sorry about your tranny. Check out my post below yours titled HELP! A couple senior members told me cost to rebuild, etc.

 

I'd highly recommend getting 4.88's or 5.13's with those 37's so theres not so much strain on your tranny. Also, with those gears, you will gain power and very possibly gas milage.
