E40D pushing oil out the dipstick why?????

hey
I have a 92 f-150 4x4 with an e40d tranny in it and just recently it started pushing oil out of the dip stick tube. I have no idea why since i was not carrying a load and the tranny did not get hot. I checked my breather and it seems fine. Why would the oil come out of the dip stick and not the breather what is going on here???? help
thanks

Breather? you mean the vent? sounds like you just have a leaky filler pipe. Is it leaking at the bottom or the o-ring or do you mean it's coming out the very top? If it is coming out the very top your vent has to be plugged.
