Yet Another 4R70W Fluid Change Question

I want to thank you all for such a great resource. With one exception, my filter and fluid change went off without a hitch today due to this forum.

My Haynes manual doesn't address the torque converter drain plug. And after searching through multiple threads, I was unable to find what the proper torque value should be. Found one thread that had a wide disparity between '00 and '01. Any documentation on a '97?

Again, thanks for all the info. Tomorrow it's new plugs and wires.

Larry

The torque convertor drain plugs have been all the same for the various Ford transmission types throughout the years. I've never looked up the torque spec, but I would think it should be the same for all.
