I laid awake one night thinking about what I could do with the infamous dust plug found in the tranny pan…yeah right. When searching for my keys, I came up with the idea of using the plug as a key fob. I am sure others have thought of this, but just in case. I painted mine pink, Mike wanted his not painted and Rebecca, my stepdaughter, wanted hers’ green. They sure fit well on the key rack and are easy to find in my purse.

Side note: when I was standing in line at the pharmacy, the man behind me recognized the plug. He told me I have a great husband if he changes the tranny oil himself. I said thank you and did not mention I am the one who does the maintenance.
