Automatic Barks 2nd!!!

Ok, I have a 2000 Ford F-150 sport 4x4 with the 5.4 and the E4OD tranny. Problem is if I floor the truck from a dead stand still or while it is in 1st gear, when my truck hits second it pops real hard. It has R/S tires on it when I bought it, and at that time it would bark the tires when it hit 2nd. Now I'm running 305/70R17 Maxxis Bighorns and it causes a loud squeeling from the drive belt. I try not to do this if at all possible and I usually back off of the accelerator just to prevent this under hard acceleration. If I shift the gears manually through the column shift I do not have this issue. It has done it for two years without getting progressively worse but what might this be? I don't believe that it is the original tranny but because I bought it used I'm not sure. I do know that when I buy my tranny filters that I have to by them as an 01 because the 00 filters have a longer deeper neck that won't fit. Or at least that's how crap'o zone lists them. Any help would be appreciated.

The broken accumulator spring strikes again. Search it out you'll find what you need to fix it.

It has been a while since I serviced my tranny so I do not remember exactly what the scenery looks like with the pan removed. Where might I find the accumulator spring ? I can't seem to locate a post that gives a pic of what it looks like while still mounted in the tranny or where it is located in there. I saw many guys had to show the parts guys at the dealer what they were looking for on an exploded diagram... so is there anybody with this diagram that could possibly point it out to me and/or explain to me where this da-gum thing is?

Ok. I did do a search but my problem is every post shows the accumulator(s) once they have been removed from the tranny. My problem is that I don't know where the 1-2 accumulator is located in the tranny so that I can remove it. I have done a lot of engine work on these motors but I don't know a 1-2 accumulator from a hole in the ground. Next problem is that every post I have found shows a 4R70W and my specific issue is an E4OD. I'm not trying to be a nuisance but I can't seem to locate a post that speaks to my specific application. Any help would be appreciated.

I highly doubt you have a 2000 f-150 with a e40d transmission. On a 4r70w the 1-2 accumulator is located on the driver side front corner of the transmission. It is the only one you can get to without removing the valvebody.
