Converter plug???

On my wife's '00 Expy EB, 5.4L with 4R100 tranny, all stock, does the torque converter have a drain plug? And if it does, which direction do I need to manually crank the engine to get the plug at the bottom?

Thumbs up

You can also carefully push against the teeth in the starter ring with a large screwdriver. This is handy so you can just watch when the drain plug appears in the maintenance access hole in the bellhousing.

I'm glad that my 2001 has one of the last torque converter drain plugs Ford installed.......
