M5OD to ZF tranny

Can you put a ZF tranny into a 97 4.6 4x4 with a M5OD and what sort of adjustments would have to be made?

That would be a lot harder than on a 96. All of the suspension stuff is in the way and is tricky to adjust, as I do not think the trannys are the same length. It is hard enough just to do a clutch job on these 97+ Why no likey the M5OD?

I was just wondering. Do you know if there is an upgrade to these pos slave cylinders or if you could use a ZF tranny hydraulic clutch system.

The ZF uses the same "POS" system.

Hmm, I have always had good luck with the slave cylinders. What is wrong with yours?

The newer versions have dust covers or boots that keep the dust out of the works. My current slave cylinder has this and it has lasted for over a year now without leaks.
