Welcome to F150online.com

On my personal vehicles, I go every 30K for flushes with a new filter. I've got access to a flush machine myself, so I can dictate what I want to do and how to do it though.

Generally the recommendation is every 30k, with or without the cooler. Make sure you use a very reputable shop if you are not taking it to Ford. And by all means make sure that if your tranny calls for Mercon V, they do not use regular Mercon and add extra crap to it; they will claim it has the same "qualities" as Mercon V. That's BS! Do it right the first time, you won't be sorry.

All the best!
