Clutch Pedal Failure (Hydraulics)

2002 Ford F150 4.2 5 speed, driving down the road, pushed in the clutch, went to the floor with 0 pressure and could not get it out of gear. Pulled over, checked fluid level, no fluid in resevoir, followed line into firewall, completely dry no leaks. Looked under truck and fluid was leaking from the casing where the flywheel and clutch plate are located. Looked through the inspection plug with no results. Very wet with fluid. Filled it up with DOT 3 and it got me home. Any ideas.. Never had any probs with the truck. Granted it is 3 years old but it only has 17,000 miles.. Figures, it always happens when the warranty is up...

The slave cylender has failed, you will have to remove the trans a nd replace slavecylender/ throught bearing may as well look at clutch while youre in there.

Yeah that sucks, but still be glad you have a handshaker. I'll take the price of a slave cylinder over a auto tranny rebuild.
