M50D Hydraulic line Removal

I need to replace the clutch in my 97 F-150. There is a special tool that releases the quick disconnect coupling on the hydraulic line to the slave cylinder. Does anyone know what the tool looks like or where I can get one. I have tools for fuel and a/c lines but they don't work on this coupling. Thanks.

Sometimes the tool is included with the new slave cylinder. However, take a small screw driver and push the piece of plastic in. It is spring loaded like a fuel line. That should uncouple it.

i think you should use two small screwdrivers, one on each side. push that plastic ring inside the slave cylinder fitting as far as you can, then pull the line out.

it also helps to relieve the hydraulic psi by opening the bleeder screw before pushing in that white collar.
