1500 miles ago I changed the trans fluid, drop pan, converter drained but when I went to put the new filter on wrong one. I cleaned the old one best I could put it back on.... I know shoulda got a second one well I could not my truck was on jack stands. Put the fluid back in, ( Yea it was new fluid) with the Micron V. Now it slips 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
I have checked the level its good, but smells kinda burnt. Got a nice red tent looks good. The truck has 305 70R 16 MT claws, pulls a trailer with 4 fourwheelers and gear every weekend about 30 miles, and is used in the woods every weekend. Superchips micro tuner, 3.55 gears. Started to slip today when I help my buddy move 3 dryers on a 16 foot trailer about 60 miles in town lots of traffic.
Next day lost 3rd an od, changed all fluid more time. Cleaned pan on the mag in the pan gray micro metal not alot but some. No chunks of anything. 1st and second work fine.???????????????
