I have a 94 F150 4X4 s cab With 223K well maintaned miles. The truck has never failed me! Until now. 30k time for trany fluid/filter change. I did it the same as I have done seems like hundreds of times before. fluid level checked out good. Drove it about four miles and it started slipping. I eased it back home. The next morning I pulled the pan back off made sure the filter was in th righht spot and every thing else was ok. I filled the E4OD back up with NEW fluid . And that was the END!! No foward or reverse. Is it a sensor or what. The miles on the E4OD were well maintaned but not always easy. Maybe its time for a new or rebiult trany at a descent price? Any sugestions?

 

I heard JET performance has a replacemnt E40D, it sound like a good deal but my friend just got the run around and it took them about two weeks to get him back his truck. The tranny has been good so far, about 50K into it.
