Hey everyone I am new to this site and fairly new to FORD's, atleast with rebuilding one. Anyway I just got a 1978 f150 and need help in identifying the tranny. The VIN number is of no use since motor and tranny have been replaced. The motor is a 351windsor but I have no idea on the tranny other than it is a 4speed manual with granny gear. If anyone has any info on the markings and where to find them please let me know. Any help will be appreciated.
