E4od trans failure

With in the last 2 months I had my e4od rebuilt and it ran good, until two days ago. The day prior it seemed to run fine and then I backed it out two days ago and then went and filled it up with gas. After leaving the gas station it would not shift up nor would it go into reverse, all I had is first gear and it worked fine. Any suggestions on what my problem could be would be greatly appreciated, the tranny fluid apears to be fine.

trans

IF yours has a vacuum modulator, the hose may have come off, but that normally would have no effect on reverse gear. If the rebuilder didn't properly tighten the filter/strainer bolts down, they might've come loose, and the trans is sucking air. What type of detent setup does it have, and is it connected?

No modulator on e40d. I would check the mlps.
