How many Solenoid does a 4r70w have? And where is the Accumulator located in this transmission?

 

The 4r70w has 2 shift solenoids. 1 tcc solenoid and one epc solenoid. There are 2 accumulators. The 1-2 is located on the drivers side front of the transmission and can be changed without removing the valvebody. The 2-3 is located on the passenger rear of the transmission and you must remove the valvebody to get to it.
