rear end growlin'

from a dead stop turning left only the pig growls until the truck straightens out. any suggestions, TSB's etc. also, my truck is a 2003, on the sticker it says 3.73 limited slip. but tag on axle, sticker not metal tag on pig says use FEHP OIL ONLY 75w90
is that synthetic and whats the difference between that and 85-140? one last thing my axle code is h9 if that helps!!

You didn't mention if you have a 4wd or 2wd truck but if it's 4wd the following may apply.

Since you only have the sound when turning I'd look into the possability that you have a CV joint in a drive shaft. Or that one of the Hubs may have stuck and isn't unlocked.

If it's a 2wd, I'd guess you have a problem in the LS clutch pack.

Sound sometimes travels to unexpected areas that make no sense once you find what the problem really is. I've had rear axel bearing noise that sounded like it was coming from the front.

And yes that is a synthetic oil (Friction Enhanced High Performance Oil)

85w140 is a thicker oil that will increase drag and may not provide proper lubrication when cool. I. E. it will hurt your MPG and may lead to damage to the Diff.
