NP205 Transfer Case

I have an NP205 transfer case. My question is if the front output shaft for the NP205 is the same as the NP203? I can't find the spine shaft seal for a 205 but I found one for a 203.

If your talking about the rubber washer that goes under the nut holding the flange to the output shaft, that should be the same as the 205 . You can also use silicoln to seal the splines under the nut as well.

That would be the one. Not a single GMC or Chevy dealership could find the seal for a 205, but I got them to look it up for 203. I just didn't know if the output shaft diameters were the same. Now I just have to see the if spline count is the same. I've tried the silicone method and it never works. That junk always ends up failing. I'm kinda surprised someone in here knew what I was talking about. Thanks!

Already tried those guys. They show the seal in one of their pictures, but do not list it individually. It's definitely something people don't ask for often. None of the guys at the dealerships, GMC, Ford, or Chevy knew what I was talking about. I guess most people use silicone to fix it.

Take a look at this pic. If you see it in this pic then take it to the dealer and show him.

It wasn't on there. Thanks though. I haven't found a part explosion for a NP205 yet that has the seal. I bought one for a NP203 during lunch. I'll try it later tonight. Pretty sure it'll work though.
