'94 E4od Insanity

Well, i'm sure you've all followed my previous thread on my 94's insanity regarding the tranny. Had it in and out six times. First time, Torque converter didnt fit properly, second time was the WRONG converter, third time the original converter STILL wouldnt work, fourth time was a diesel converter and studs were too long, and needed to be cut, fifth time the Diesel converter was shot, And now it's out AGAIN. I've had enough of this bull, and i'm gonna try to bring it back to the guy i bought it from. He won't give me my money back, which was supposed to be $1,000, but i've paid for $580 so far. (and I didnt get a converter, dipstick tube, or shiftpack, plus it's used) It's from a jolly good fellow named Jack young. Ask Neil or JMC about this champ... So now i've got a 'new' tranny, off a guy named Steve Price, from Thamesville. He rebuilt it 4 years ago, with a shift kit, and put 20,000 on it before he wrecked the truck, Man, I really hope this goes smoothly, because if not, I'm gonna just sell it as is. Is there ANYTHING i should do BEFORE putting it in? To make it go as smoothly as possible? I'm going to change the pump seal and rear tailstock seal, but is there anyhting else? UGH, I hope ths goes smoothly...

Appreciating any responses to my incoherent ramblings, Jim

If it is a stock 94 transmission replace the converter with one built after 97.
