Question gear ratio
How can I tell my gear ratio? IS there a way to interpret the VIN?

Get the axle code from the sticker inside the driver's side door jamb. Search the code here for the actual ratio. The actual ratio is also listed on a small tag under one of the cover bolts.

I got that b6 = 3.73 LS

Yup that sounds right. I got at 03 screw with the FX4, and if I remember correctly, the FX4 package came with 3.73 LS
