Guys,

Have anyone personally changed out the extension housing of the transmission on a 2WD after installing the revised driveshaft? If so, can a no-skilled mechanic, such as myself, do the job with average tools? What's involved in this?

It's pretty simple just take the driveshaft out, speed sensor(if equipped) and remove the bolts from the extension housing.
I'm not sure exactly what you have some of the trucks have exhaust all up in the way.
