Question tranny's for a '95' f150

Hey out there,
I wonder if there is anyone out there that can help me out. I've got a '95' f150 with a stroked and supercharged 5.0L. The motor is pretty potent, but my tranny is lacking. It's a stock hydraulic 5spd. My question is, does anyone know of a 6 spd I can set up behind it. Will I have to modify the hole in the floor for the shifter, or instead, will the 5spd from a 5.0L mustang work?
The problem I am having, is when my tranny gets hot, it is next to impossible to shift, it just won't go into gear, and it seems to like to eat clutches. I have replaced all parts once already, and am just giving up on fixing it, so would like to replace it.
Thanks for any and all help you can give me!
Lowlyf
