Shift Solenoid
Today I did a code check and it said I have a bad solenoid:
Code: 92 Shift Solenoid 2 circuit failure
It gave me the above code twice then continued on.
Code: 45 Thermactor Air Flow is always upstream
Code: 33 Egr valve not opening
I would like to fix the Shift solenoid. Where is this located and can a home mechanic do it themselves.
Did a search here and didn't find specific info on how to fix.
I ordered a haynes manual but won't be in the mail for a few days. Is there a specific book about the 4EOD tranny's?
So is there anything on the internet about this.

ASTG tranny manual...
I got an ASTG manual for my 4r70w(aode) tranny from a guy on Ebay Stores. If you email him personally, he'll tell you if he has one. tzimmerman@gmail.com
His online store is Transmission Exchange Co. I do not work or have anything to do with this guy, other than purchasing a manual from him. I know there were other companies online, so do an Ebay search. His was average price(slightly lower buy a buck or two at about $16 plus the shipping. The ASTG manuals are a seperate organization of many making manuals, so look up them on the internet. Hope you find one.
