Transmission problem in Supercrew

I have a 01 Supercrew with 42,000 miles on it. Last night I was driving down the road and the engine started to rev up and the pickup slowed down, shifted to 2nd and had the same thing, but would engage in 1st. I then shifted back to drive, it did reengage and I made it home. This morning I tried to back out of the garage, no reverse but it would engage in drive. Transmission full of fluid and is not discolored, smell, or low. I baby this truck, pull a 2700 lb boat twice a year for a total of 200 miles, had the transmission oil flushed at 30,000 miles. I thought Fords had good tranny's? What could be causing this problem?

Don't drive it !!! Call your Ford Dealer for advice...You may have to get it towed in to be looked at...I ruined a ford tran. by driving it...Had to get a used trans as mine was not worth fixing after I kept driving it till it stopped...Make the call...
