Transmission seems to slip

Could anyone tell me if it sounds as if my trans is starting to go.
When ever i drive roughly 20 to 30 miles at highway speeds then slow down to a stop when i go to take of it hesitates. and then when i am on wet grass it seems to slip when i start to take off then it grabs and the whole back end shudders and almost seems to hop until the traction is gained any help would be great. Warranty expires in 10 days.

Do you have a limited slip rear end differential? I could need some additive or the clutches are worn out.

the first time my truck seemed to "slip" i was backing out of a steep driveway..............caused the end of my transmission!i'd say your in for that down the road but if you asked me i'd say it could be your clutches

if your tranny fluid is full and good then take it to the dealership cause you don't wanna pay for a tranny rebuild when you don't have to.or if they're no help try puttin a quart of marvel mystery oil in the fluid and it should help.i let the tranny in my 73 chevy run dry and it finally got where it wouldn't go into gear or anything.i put in new fluid, still wouldn't even go into gear.i got a quart of marvel mystery oil and put it in,within a minute it went right into gear.i drove it down the road and it never slipped once, and i was hard on it to see if i could make it slip again and it still wouldn't.

Sounds familiar with my '97 F1504r70w...

Mine did something very similar, going from reverse to drive to quickly. Blew the seal out of my 1-2 accumulator. Does the truck lock up in Low 1 ? Late 1-2 shifts?

If so, get a tranny filter, and the new redesigned 1-2 accum. piston with springs.

Piston - FZAZ 7F251 AA
Springs (look up or email me with details of truck, or I will send you the .pdf file with the chart- owen@iaw.com)
Filter - FT 105

If you cut the pressure in the tranny by turning the truck off after reverse, the piston seems to move a little better, then start it back up and go straight to drive.

See Article No. 97-11-11 "4r70w Erratic Or Prolonged 1-2 shift" (same with the AODE)

The 1-2 acculator is the right corner of the tranny with snap ring.... took about 2 hours to 1500 grit the bore with the lower hole plugged to prevent contamination, then I used polishing paste to smooth out the bore. Do not get anything in the holes! No need to remove the valve body.
