clutch rattle

I have 98 F150 4x4 that has a rattle when I push in the clutch and goes away when I let it out after the truck has sat overnight and when I get out of work, after about 4-5 traffic lights it goes away. there is no problem shifting and the truck has only 42k miles. It was suggested that it's the throwout bearing, this started back in the winter and the noise has not progressed it's still the same. what do you think the problem is?

I have had the same noise for 2 + years and it has never gotton any worse just when its cold then it goes away. could be the throwout bearing. I just drive when it gets louder i will have it checked out.
