bad transmission????

bad transmission????

On my dashboard the lever is offset to the right, so that in park it looks like it's in drive, etc. Problem is i dont have room to put it in low, is my transmission going out? Still runs fine in drive and 2nd.

I am no transmission expert but it sounds to me like your linkage is screwed up...check that out first.

You have bent linkage. It's adjustable through a turnbuckle somewhere in the shift lever assembly normally.
