Hello all,

I have a '97 F150, 5.4L V8, E4OD, 4x4 that has a bad trasmission, metal flakes all over when I dropped the pan. I am looking for a transmission out of a junk yard but I would like to know what years will work for a '97.

If anyone has concrete information on what years will work and what years will not work I would appreciate it.

In case anyone else has this delema, I think I have found out that 1997 and 1998 are the only years that will work.
