FTVB - Thanks Gregg!

So I install this FTVB that I had heard rave reviews about, and yes, it did make my shifts harder and quicker. I used my SCT-1715 to tone down the line pressure back to stock so as not to annoy my family. Shifts great! and has even calmed down a bit in the last week or so making want to bump the line pressure up a few notches.
Anyway, most of the reviews I read were from Lightning drivers attesting to the massive 1-2 shift screams they're getting from their tires, and thought that was SO COOL. Well, I didn't think that would happen with my 4x4 Expy with 33" tires, but it did this morning (Well not massive).
So, I slow down behind this dump truck on no-stop right turn to another road, and hammer the accelerator while I veer to the far left lane to pass the truck. The road is on a slight descent, so I 'm picking up speed rapidly. The engine roars as it reaches the shift point, then to my sheer surprise and utter enjoyment comes this BARK! from my rear rubber as it slams into second! WOW!
Cool, I never thought my 7200lb Expy with oversized tires would do that! I'm so tickled.
Thanks Gregg!

especially from another non-9100 / non-Ligtning owner. The FTVB is definately at the top of my "must have next" list!
What setting do you have your 1715 on?
Mine is still on the 87 octane (#%^*@%#!! fuel prices
)
Truck now shifts better than any stock trans I have ever owned and leaves as hard as my stock 340 Duster used to with a 4- speed & 3:91 posi.

Gas $ suck (~$2.50/gal), but it's only $6 tank difference from 87.
You'll enjoy your FTVB, and won't have to strain your fluid pump to have great shifting. I found the FTVB performance alone with stock pressure much better than stock valve body and SC shift pressure setting.
Good Luck!
