93 bronco xlt 5.0 e4od. The trans shifts fine when cool, shifts to all gears good. After it is hot it looses overdrive, then after awhile it looses drive, maybe after 50 miles of non stop driving. It does feel like it slips alittle going from 2nd to 3rd sometimes but not all the time. Shifts real firm and consistant when cool. Put on an extra cooler and even pull the thermostat out of motor but just prolonged it alittle. Is this common with e4od's, is it shot or is it electrical. The guy i bought it from has had two electrical shift packs put in before. He claims trans has only 2000-3000 miles on it. The converter seems to be locking up and unlocking just fine. Does anyone have a clue. And if shot does anyone know if a C-6 will work with the 1356 transfercase. Would the length be the same. Just want it to play in the mud with. Need to fix it cheap!!!!!!!!!!
