transmission slipping!!

I'm having problems w/ my transmission. I have an 03 Supercrew 4x4, 5.4l, 3.73 gear w/ 4r70w tranny and 7500 miles. My problem started about 2 months ago when I slowed down for a yield (about 5mph) and then gave it gas. The tranny acted like it went into neutral when it should have downshifted into 1st. RPM's went up followed by a hard forceful shift into 1st. And it's getting worse, did it twice yesterday from a complete stop. Acts like the tranny doesn't know what gear it's supposed to be in (1-2?). Took it to the dealer and of course they "could not duplicate". Seems to do it most first thing in the morning, although not limited to then. Fluid is good, full and red. Anyone have any suggestions or similar problems? I bought brand new thinking I wouldn't have these problems. Any help would be appreciated. I have not towed anything yet and I baby my truck.
