I am going to install my FTVB and 4 x 4 pan today and just wondering how much tranny fluid it will take to fill. And should I take my chip out until I can get it reburned at FFW when JDM is here in Houston.

Only got one reply in the transmision forum was hoping some of you could be more help with the FTVB question.

The factory pan is 7 quarts, and if I remember correctly, the 4x4 pan holds another 1 1/2.
