For what type vehicle? If its for a 98 and up F150 5 spd, you'll have a lot of people wanting to know where and when you got it!! I'll be the first in line for details.

Last I heard is that the shifter should be out late spring early summer. I'm not holding my breath. Hurst has been dragging their feet on this one for a long time now. It's my understanding that some shifters were released late spring of last year but it didn't work with all interior configurations so they went back to the drawing board.

I don't think there is an actual picture of the shifter for our trucks (the 391-5026) but I think it will look similar to the Billet shifter for the Ranger. I also think the install should be about the same. If you go to the Mr. Gasket web sight you should be able to find installation instructions for the Ranger shifter. Any differences would be minor.

I've had a shifter on order now for almost a year. The vendor offered me my money back, but I don't want the money. I want the damn shifter. I hope Hurst gets their ***** in order soon. Otherwise I might end up trading my truck before I get this shifter.

I have an automatic tranny myself but I 've seen several threads regarding new-fangeled shifters and how everybody wants one. I stumbled across this badboy. Is this really what you've all been waiting for??

That's the one. See, driving an auto you don't get to feel just how much of a POS this Mazda tranny is. 30% may not seem like much, untill you've shifted this tranny. If you drive slow it's ok but there are many of us who would like not to have to wait the time it takes to move that shifter the mile and a half (exageration ) between gears. With this new-fangled shifter it should only be a mile or so.
