Okay, 2001 Mercury Mountaineer with 5.0L & 4R70W tranny.

Is there a drain plug in the torque converter? There is a rubber plug in the bottom of the bell housing, but I haven't looked beyond that.

You can look, but I think Ford stopped installing TC drain plugs in September 2000.
