My E4OD tranny in my 92 f150 started blowing fluid out the vent cap.
Rebuilt trans are running over $1500. and I cant find one in a junkyard. Is it possible to replace this tranny with a C4, and if so what is involved?

I feel your pain, my e4od in my 1990 just quit and I was also quoted $1500. I was able to find several used tranny's, however. One local junkyard has a 1995 e4od with 41K on it for $500, now I just need to figure out what's needed to get the newer one to work in my truck!
