shifts delayed in 4 wheel drive??
i had my truck out in the snow before the plows were out (it was prety slick). so i had it lokcked up in 4 wheel, and i was also babying it. and i kinda noticed that the tranny seemed to wait longer to shift than it did runnin arround in 2 wheel.
i have a 2003 with 4.2L v6, im just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. it sems like the PCM notices your in 4 wheel and it changes the shift points to compensate for possible slick roads or for off road use? i do know that the 4r70W tranny has a learning program and such.
i also would like to install a trans temp gauge, can it be put in the hole marked"LINE" on the drivers side of the transmision? i heard that it was a pressure test port and it was a dead end, no fluid flow?
