Question 4RW70 trans pan

Do they make like a 4x4 pan for this transmission or any higher capacity pan?

When I do the FTVB was thinking about a larger pan. Any ideas?

If the bottom of your pan is flat, then yes they do make one. My Fx4 has a deeper sump area in the pan, much like the 4x4 pan for the 4r100 I installed on my lightning with the valve body. You probably just need a ford 4x4 pan for the 4r70. It doesn't come with a drain plug though, at least mine doesn't have one.

The following is a link to one of many sites that have transmission pans.

B & M has a deep pan that holds 3 more quarts and has a drain plug on the bottom. I installed it on my Expy. Comes with new gasket and allen head bolts. It has a step in the pan for the filter to rest on and doesn't need an extension for the filter.
