Dana vs Ford

I have a 97 Expy 5.4 with the Class III tow pkg. does that automatically mean I have the Dana rear end?

I haven't looked, but someone said it should say Dana on the differential area. Yes/No?

There is a leak between the pumpkin and diff. Autozone said it's gasket sealer, not a gasket. I was asking about the rear end, cuz they have two different oils for the diff, depending on which one it is.

Thanks!!!

It's a 9.75" sterling. To the best of my knowledge, the only "dana" axles in any Ford truck are the fronts in the 250-550 and the rears in the 450-550.
